ACTION REQUESTED:
The Board of County Commissioners approves a Resolution to authorize contract amendment for
a Contract between Kittitas County and Kittitas County Friends of Animals. (Effective:
01.01.25-12.31.27)
BACKGROUND:
The Amendment to the KC Friends of Animals agreement updates the scope of work. The 1/10th
of 1% Mental Health and Chemical Dependency Tax funding award to private financial
veterinary assistance to animals owned by youth, veterans, and seniors in Kittitas County. The
amendment extends the termination date to December 31, 2027and compensation will increase
from 60,000.00 to 90,000.00.
INTERACTION:
Kittitas County Prosecutors: Reviewed and approved August 24, 2026.
Kittitas County Auditors: Reviewed and approved August 24, 2026.
RECOMMENDATION:
