<br /> <br />KITTITAS COUNTY <br />DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS <br /> <br />2026 AGENDA STAFF REPORT <br /> <br />AGENDA DATE: September 15, 2026 <br /> <br />ACTION REQUESTED: Request to set a Public Hearing on October 6, 2026, at 2:00 <br />pm Local Time, to Consider the Adoption of the Six-Year <br />Transportation Improvement Program for 2027-2032 and <br />the 2027 Annual Construction Program. <br /> <br /> <br />BACKGROUND: Public Works has prepared a Six-Year Transportation <br />Improvement Program for 2027-2032 and a 2027 Annual <br />Construction Program. <br /> <br /> Each year Public Works solicits public comment on the <br />annual and six-year plan. A press release was posted from <br />July 15 through August 5, 2026, soliciting comments on the <br />six year and annual plan. Information was also posted on <br />the Public Works website as well as social media post from <br />the BOCC office. <br /> <br />INTERACTION: Public Works. <br /> <br />RECOMMENDATION: Set a Public Hearing on October 6, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. to <br />consider adopting the Six-Year Transportation program for <br />2027-2032 and the 2027 Annual Construction Program. <br /> <br />HANDLING: Return one original to Public Works. <br /> <br />ATTACHMENTS: Notice of Public Hearing <br /> <br />LEAD STAFF: Joshua Fredrickson, Public Works Director.
