COMMISSIONERS' MINUTES KITTITAS COUNTY, WASHINGTON AUDITORIUM SPECIAL MEETING
TUESDAY 2:00 P.M. SEPTEMBER 1, 2026
Board members present: Chairman Brett Wachsmith and Vice-Chair,
Laura Osiadacz.
Others: Jodi Larsen, Office Administrator; Josh Fredrickson, Public
Works Director. PUBLIC HEARING AIRPORT LEASE – DNR PUBLIC WORKS
At 2:00 p.m. CHAIRMAN WACHSMITH opened a Public Hearing to consider
A 20 Year Lease with Department of Natural Resources for property
located at the Kittitas County Airport, Bowers Field.
JOSH FREDRICKSON, PUBLIC WORKS DIRECTOR, reviewed a Staff Report and
recommended approval of a Lease for the property at Bowers Field
Airport, Lot H-1A.
THERE BEING NO ONE REQUESTING TO TESTIFY, THE PUBLIC PORTION OF THE HEARING WAS CLOSED. RESOLUTION 2026-142 AIRPORT LEASE – DNR PUBLIC WORKS VICE-CHAIRMAN OSIADACZ moved to Approve Resolution No. 2026-142,
Authorizing a 20 Year Lease with the Department of Natural
Resources, for Property at Bowers Field Lot H-1A. CHAIRMAN WACHSMITH
seconded. Motion carried 2—0.
The meeting was concluded at 2:04 p.m.
