AGENDA STAFF REPORT
AGENDA DATE: September 1, 2026
ACTION REQUESTED: Request to Acknowledge FFY25 HSGP (Homeland Security
Grant Program) Agreement E26-350.
BACKGROUND: The purpose of the FFY25 Homeland Security Grant Program
(HSGP) is to fund state, local, territorial, and tribal governments to prevent, protect
against, and respond to terrorist attacks, and prepare the nation for threats and hazards
that pose the greatest risk to the security of the United States.
INTERACTION: The Kittitas County Prosecutor’s Office has reviewed and approved
the FFY24 HSGP Agreement.
RECOMMENDATION: Request to Acknowledge FFY25 HSGP (Homeland Security
Grant Program) Agreement E26-350.
HANDLING: Sheriff’s Office will send a fully executed contract to Board of County
Commissioners when we receive it.
