ACTION REQUESTED:
The Board of County Commissioners approves a Resolution to Authorize and Interlocal
Agreement between Kittitas County and The Washington State Department of Ecology and The
Washington State Department of Health for the Regional Onsite Sewage System Loan Program.
(Effective Date: Upon signature- no end date- but term with 30 days written notice)
BACKGROUND:
The professional services agreement is to establish for the purpose of providing a program to
offer loan assistance to citizens of the participating local jurisdictions to address failing or
malfunctioning on-site sewage systems to protect public health and water quality.
INTERACTION:
Kittitas County Prosecutors: Reviewed and approved 08/05/2026.
Kittitas County Auditors: Reviewed and approved 08/05/2026.
RECOMMENDATION:
The Board of County Commissioners approves a Resolution to Authorize and Interlocal
Agreement between Kittitas County and The Washington State Department of Ecology and The
Washington State Department of Health for the Regional Onsite Sewage System Loan Program.
