RE: Bowling Alley Lease
To Whom It May Concern:
Regarding the bowling alley lease section E, item number 1, which specifies that the grand
opening of the facility is within 18 months, we are requesting an extension of this timeline due to
the following uncontrollable and/or unforeseen circumstances.
Our vendor, Brunswick, is the only bowling alley equipment manufacturer that can
supply the equipment needed to complete this project. Brunswick began installation in
the middle of May 2026 and is expected to be completed by the beginning to middle of
August 2026.
• Arcade equipment has been ordered and will be arriving for installation mid summer.
• An application for a liquor and gambling license has been submitted to the State of
Washington; however, it is currently on hold until Brunswick completes installation, as
completion of the facility is a requirement for final license approval.
Our goal is to have the facility running and open as soon as Brunswick completes their
installation. While we are targeting late summer 2026, we are asking Kittitas County to extend
the grand opening requirement to November 5th, 2026. Please let us know if you have any
questions and thank you for the opportunity to bring this project to the finish line for our
community.
Sincerely,
Vv

Per the description below, we present the following change order proposal #66 (COP#66).
COP 66 includes all labor and equipment required to install the VFD cable associated with the
relocation of the VFD.
Originally, the VFD was installed at the exhaust fan location. However, due to explosion -proof
and NEMA rating requirements at the exhaust fan location, the VFD was not permitted to
remain installed there. The new mechanical room location eliminates the need for explosion -
proof and specific NEMA ratings. However, because of the increased distance from the exhaust
fan, installation of a properly rated VFD cable is required.
Please refer to the attached pages for a detailed breakdown of the associated costs.

Per the description below, we present the following change order proposal #67 (COP#67).
COP #67 includes all labor and equipment required to install the necessary grinder piers.
Per Patti's request, this proposal also includes all labor and materials required to form, pour,
and strip four (4) piers measuring 24 inches in diameter by 18 inches in height.
This pricing assumes that the final engineered design is consistent with standard grinder pier
details and does not include extraordinary reinforcement, embedments, specialty materials, or
atypical installation requirements. Any deviations from typical design criteria may require
review and adjustment to this proposal.

Re: MRW Gas Detector Install
Per the description below, we present the following change order proposal #71 (COP#71).
COP #71 includes all labor, materials, and equipment necessary to install the gas detector
located in the MRW building. The gas detector was not called out on the mechanical equipment
schedules and not shown on any of the electrical drawings. For a document trail please refer to
RFI's 114, 117, 129, and 140. Due to the numerous vague RFI responses and facility needs the
detector was then installed by Titan electrical on a T&M basis. Please see the attached labor
and materials breakdown.
Total cost added to contract
Time extension required: 0 days

Riley Eres,

Per the description below, we present the following change order proposal #72 (COP#72).
COP #72 includes all labor, materials, and equipment necessary to combine lighting circuits and

a block heater circuit to maintain the system at an operable temperature and a louver control
circuit to automatically engage the louver upon fire pump activation. This solution came from
the RFI response to RFI# 141 which came in an email form Tom on 4/9.

Subject: Jail Sewage Pit
Date: Thursday, March 19, 2026 2:30:07 PM
Hi Scott!
I talked to Tyler and we can definitely pump out the sewage pit at the Jail for you all!
Price wise, it will be a $350 Truck service fee plus the amount of gallons. We charge .33 cents
per gallon. On the last job I could find it was 500 gallons, which would be around $165 just to
give you an idea of what it might be. Let me know if you need a more formal estimate and I
can write one up as well!
If you would like to get something on the schedule let me know!
Best,
Malia
