AWARDING THE CONTRACT F'OR THE HORIZONTAL CURVE SAFETY PROJECT
(cRP 3lg-23),AI\D AUTHORIZE THE PUBLIC WORKS DIRECTOR TO EXECUTE
TIIE SAME
WHEREAS: The call for sealerl hirls supporting the Horizontal Cun'o Safoty Projcct (CRl
319-23) was authorized by the Kittitas County Board of Commissioners on June
76,2026; atd
WHEREAS: The Department of Public Works solicited bids in accordance with RCW
36.7 7 .020 Contract Procedures; and
yHEREAS: Sealed bids were received and opened on July 9,2026, at 10:00 am; and
WHEREAS: There were three (3) responsive bids received for review; and
WHEREAS: The lowest responsive bid was from M2Industrial, Inc. in the amount of
5370,947 ,00; and
WIIEREAS: The Public Works Director recommends the lowest responsive bid be accepted;
and
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of County Commissioners finds it in
the best interest of the County to award the Contract for the Horizontal Curve
Safety Project to M2 Industrial, Inc.; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Public Works Director is authorized to sign contract
documents for said Project.
