ACTION REQUESTED: Request to Acknowledge the MOU Between Kittitas County
and Crisis Connections
BACKGROUND: This MOU is to allow for Crisis Connections to provide 24/7 access to a
scheduling phone line to making "bridging appointments" for patients who are
discharging from a Correctional Institution in the context of opiate use concerns. Three
options of outpatient providers in their area will be offered with at least one telehealth
option. KCJ will provide the individuals information, a brief synopsis, and confirmation
of verbal agreement of intent to attend appointment provided by CC. CC will provide
clinic/provider information and specifics appointment appoint to staff facilitating release
to be given to the individual.
INTERACTION: The Kittitas County Prosecuting Attorney's Office has reviewed and
approved.
RECOMMENDATION: Request to Acknowledge the MOU Between Kittitas County
and Crisis Connections
