Kittitas County <br />Public Health Department <br /> <br />Agenda Staff Report <br /> <br />AGENDA DATE: <br />08/04/2026 <br /> <br />ACTION REQUESTED: <br />The Board of County Commissioners approves the AFS between Kittitas County and Kittitas <br />County Health Network. The AFS allows for one-time Opioid Abatement Strategies funding. <br />(Effective dates: 07/01/2026-06/30/2027) <br /> <br />BACKGROUND: <br />The AFS allows for one time use abatement strategies funding to provide medication for opioid <br />use disorder through fourteen separate activities outlined in the opioid abatement MOU and <br />aligns with the Kittitas County Health Improvement Plan. <br /> <br />INTERACTION: <br />Kittitas County Prosecutors: Reviewed and approved July 8, 2026. <br />Kittitas County Auditors: Reviewed and approved July 8, 2026. <br /> <br />RECOMMENDATION: <br />The Board of County Commissioners approves the AFS between Kittitas County and Kittitas <br />County Health Network.
