ACTION REQUESTED:
The Board of County Commissioners approves the AFS between Kittitas County and Peers
Rising. (Effective date: July 1, 2026- June 30, 2027)
BACKGROUND:
The purpose of the agreement establishes use of the 2026 one-time Opioid Abatement Strategies
Funding to provide barrier reduction support for individuals impacted by opioid use disorder,
including transportation, basic needs, and reentry assistance.
INTERACTION:
Kittitas County Prosecutors: Reviewed and approved July 8, 2026.
Kittitas County Auditors: Reviewed and approved July 8, 2026.
RECOMMENDATION:
The Board of County Commissioners approves the AFS between Kittitas County and Peers
Rising. (Effective date: July 1, 2026- June 30, 2027)
HANDLING:
Please return two fully executed agreements to Public Health.
