Kittitas County <br />Public Health Department <br /> <br />Agenda Staff Report <br /> <br />AGENDA DATE: <br />August 4, 2026 <br /> <br />ACTION REQUESTED: <br />The Board of County Commissioners approves the AFS between Kittitas County and Damman <br />School District. The AFS allows for the use of 1/10th Funds for mental health services and <br />prevention strategies to the students in the Damman School District. <br />(Effective dates: 07/01/2026-06/30/2027) <br /> <br />BACKGROUND: <br />The Board of County Commissioners have allocated 1/10th of 1% funding to the Kittitas County <br />Schools through resolution. <br />INTERACTION: <br />Reviewed and approved by the Prosecuting Attorney’s Office July 8, 2026. <br />Reviewed and approved by the Auditors Office July 8, 2026. <br /> <br />RECOMMENDATION: <br />The Board of County Commissioners approves the AFS between Kittitas County and Damman <br />School District. The AFS allows for the use of 1/10th Funds for mental health services and <br />prevention strategies to the students in the Damman School District. <br />(Effective dates: 07/01/2026-06/30/2027) <br /> <br />HANDLING: <br />Please send two fully executed agreements back to Public Health. <br /> <br />LEAD STAFF: <br />Kasey Knutson
