ACTION REQUESTED:
The Board of County Commissioners approves the AFS between Kittitas County and Kittitas
School District. The AFS allows for the use of 1/10th Funds for mental health services and
prevention strategies to the students in the Kittitas School District.
(Effective dates: 07/01/2026-06/30/2027)
BACKGROUND:
The Board of County Commissioners have allocated 1/10th of 1% funding to the Kittitas County
Schools through resolution.
INTERACTION:
Reviewed and approved by the Prosecuting Attorney’s Office July 8, 2026.
Reviewed and approved by the Auditors Office July 8, 2026.
RECOMMENDATION:
The Board of County Commissioners approves the AFS between Kittitas County and Kittitas
School District. The AFS allows for the use of 1/10th Funds for mental health services and
prevention strategies to the students in the Kittitas School District.
(Effective dates: 07/01/2026-06/30/2027)
HANDLING:
Please send back two fully executed agreements to Public Health.
