KITTITAS COUNTY <br />BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />RESOLUTTON No. 202s- I [p It <br />A Resolution Authorizing Use of "REET 1" Revenues for Debt-service <br />Costs Relating to the Construction of a New Transfer Station Facility. <br />WHEREAS, Kittitas County will construct a new lower-county transfer station, and; <br />WHEREAS, the County has secured a $10 Million loan to cover a portion of the <br />construction costs; and <br />WHEREAS, management has modeled several scenarios for loan repayment utilizing <br />"REET 1" revenues and the corresponding impacts to transfer station fee increases based on the <br />differing levels of support; and <br />WHEREAS, the County recognizes that its Solid Waste fee structure is an important <br />variable in the success and sustainability of its overall economic growth, ecological, and quality <br />of life initiatives; <br />NOW, THEREF'ORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners that <br />"REET 1" revenues are authorized for repayment of loan PC23-96103-132 secured for the <br />construction of the lower county transfer station. The amount of support is to be 75o/o of the loan's <br />annual debt service and is subject to the annual appropriations process. The level of support is to <br />continue for the duration of the loan.
