KITTITAS COUNTY <br />SHERIFF’S OFFICE <br /> <br />AGENDA STAFF REPORT <br /> <br /> <br />AGENDA DATE: July 21, 2026 <br /> <br />ACTION REQUESTED: Request to Approve a Resolution Authorizing the Amendment <br />of the Kittitas County Sheriff’s Office Civil Fee Schedule. <br /> <br /> <br />BACKGROUND: The purpose of this proposed Amendment is to update the Kittitas <br />County Sheriff’s Office Civil Fee schedule. This schedule was last updated by Resolution <br />2025-005. The one change proposed is for a required increase in the FBI fingerprint- <br />based background check fee (for CPL applications) from $12.00 to $15.00 effective <br />October 1, 2026. <br /> <br />INTERACTION: This proposed Amendment has been reviewed and approved as to <br />form by the Kittitas County Prosecutor’s Office. <br /> <br />RECOMMENDATION: Request to Approve a Resolution Authorizing the <br />Amendment of the Kittitas County Sheriff’s Office Civil Fee Schedule. <br /> <br />HANDLING: Please return one copy of the Resolution to the Sheriff’s Office for our <br />records. <br /> <br />LEAD STAFF: Command Staff
