AGENDA DATE: July 21, 2026
ACTION REQUESTED: Request to Approve a Resolution Authorizing the Amendment
of the Kittitas County Sheriff’s Office Civil Fee Schedule.
BACKGROUND: The purpose of this proposed Amendment is to update the Kittitas
County Sheriff’s Office Civil Fee schedule. This schedule was last updated by Resolution
2025-005. The one change proposed is for a required increase in the FBI fingerprint-
based background check fee (for CPL applications) from $12.00 to $15.00 effective
October 1, 2026.
INTERACTION: This proposed Amendment has been reviewed and approved as to
form by the Kittitas County Prosecutor’s Office.
RECOMMENDATION: Request to Approve a Resolution Authorizing the
Amendment of the Kittitas County Sheriff’s Office Civil Fee Schedule.
HANDLING: Please return one copy of the Resolution to the Sheriff’s Office for our
records.
