ACTION REQUESTED: Request to Acknowledge the modification to the 2025
Cooperative Law Enforcement Agreement #24-LE-11061700-080 MOD 003 for $25,000
between the Kittitas County Sheriff’s Office and the US Forest Service, Okanogan-
Wenatchee National Forest.
BACKGROUND: The Kittitas County Sheriff’s Office has worked with the US Forest
Service for several years. The purpose of this agreement is to document a cooperative
effort between the parties to enhance State and local law enforcement in connection with
activities on National Forest Service lands and provide for reimbursement to the Kittitas
County Sheriff’s Office.
INTERACTION: The Kittitas County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office has reviewed and
approved.
RECOMMENDATION: Request to Acknowledge the 2025 Cooperative Law
Enforcement Agreement #24-LE-11061700-080 MOD 003 in the amount of $25,000
between the Kittitas County Sheriff’s Office and the US Forest Service, Okanogan-
Wenatchee National Forest.
HANDLING: Sheriff’s Office to obtain signatures from USFS and return one fully
executed original to BOCC.
