ACTION REQUESTED:
The Board of County Commissioners approves the signature of the Public Health Director on the
Amendment to the Agreement between the State of Washington Department of Ecology and
Kittitas County Public Health. (Effective dates: 02.01.25-06.30.27)
BACKGROUND:
The agreement between the WA State Dept of Ecology and KCPHD allows the county to engage
Ellensburg residents in designing community driven strategies to reduce air pollutants,
improving air quality and health outcomes. Through outreach, data collection, and collaboration,
the project will prioritize environmental justice and create sustainable emission reduction plans.
INTERACTION:
Kittitas County Prosecutors: Reviewed and approved on June 11, 2026.
Kittitas County Auditors: Reviewed and approved on June 11, 2026.
RECOMMENDATION:
The Board of County Commissioners approves the signature of the Public Health Director on the
Amendment to the Agreement between the State of Washington Department of Ecology and
Kittitas County Public Health. (Effective dates: 02.01.25-06.30.27)
