2026-06-09 MINUTES <br />KITTITAS COUNTY <br />HR STUDY SESSION MINUTES <br />BOCC CONFERENCE ROOM, 205 W 5TH AVE., ROOM 108, ELLENSBURG <br />Regular Meeting <br /> <br />TUESDAY 10:00 AM 6/09/2026 <br /> <br />Board Members Present: Cory Wright, Brett Wachsmith, Laura Osiadacz <br />Others Present: Bryan Elliott, Sarah Keith, Bill Davis, Richard Hink, Therese Murphy, Jeanne Killgore <br /> <br />CALL TO ORDER <br />The meeting was called to order at 10:00 AM. <br />CITIZEN COMMENTS (1 MINUTE TIME LIMIT) <br />None. <br />REQUEST TO APPROVE MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING (MOU) BETWEEN KITTITAS <br />COUNTY AND LOCAL 2658 (APPRAISERS) TO MODIFY ARTICLE 14.1(B) – PTO ACCRUAL <br />HR Director Killgore presented an MOU to modify the PTO accrual language in the Appraisers collective <br />bargaining agreement. The update will align contract language regarding PTO accrual in the last month of <br />employment with the County’s current practice. Commissioner Wachsmith moved to approve an MOU with Local <br />2658 to modify Article 14.1(B) – PTO Accrual. Commissioner Wright seconded the motion. Motion was passed; <br />3:0. <br />REQUEST TO APPROVE MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING (MOU) BETWEEN KITTITAS <br />COUNTY AND LOCAL 792CH (COURTHOUSE) TO MODIFY ARTICLE 14.1(B) – PTO ACCRUAL <br />HR Director Killgore presented an MOU to modify the PTO accrual language in the Courthouse collective <br />bargaining agreement. The update will align contract language regarding PTO accrual in the last month of employment with <br />the County’s current practice. Commissioner Wachsmith moved to approve an MOU with Local 792 to modify <br />Article 12.1(B) – PTO Accrual. Commissioner Wright seconded the motion. Motion was passed; 3:0. <br />REQUEST TO APPROVE MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING (MOU) BETWEEN KITTITAS <br />COUNTY AND LOCAL 792CH (COURTHOUSE) TO RECOGNIZE AND CLASSIFY SUPERIOR <br />COURT COMPLIANCE SPECIALIST <br />This topic was tabled to a future meeting.
