ft& <br />AGENDA DATE: <br />ACTION REQUESTED: <br />KITTITAS COUNTY <br />BOARD OF' COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />AGENDA STAFF'REPORT <br />December 16,2025 <br />Request the Board of County Commissioners (BOCC) approve an <br />agreement between Kittitas County and the City of Kittitas to provide <br />Library Services to County Residents for the Year 2026. <br />BACKGROUND: <br />INTERACTION <br />RECOMMENDATION: <br />HANDLING: <br />ATTACHMENT <br />LEAD STAF'F': <br />The Kittitas County Board of Commissioners approved $10,000.00 in <br />the 2026 budget for the City of Kittitas to provide library services to <br />County residents living outside the City limits and $500.00 for the <br />Summer Reading program for the period of January 1,2026, through <br />December 31,2026. <br />The Agreement as approved by the Prosecutors office (11993) and the <br />budget amount has been verified by Zack DeHaven, Budget and <br />Finance Director. <br />Approve and authorize Board signature on the Agreement between <br />Kittitas County and the City of Kittitas to provide library services and <br />the Summer Reading program for the period of January 1,2026, <br />through December 31, 2026. <br />1 copy - Clerk of the Board <br />2 Originals - City of Kittitas for signature and return 1 original to the <br />Clerk of the Board. <br />Upon receipt of fully executed Agreement, BOCC office to send a <br />copy to Lisa Bugni in the Auditor's Office. <br />2026Library Services Agreement between Kittitas County and the <br />City of Kittitas <br />ZackDeHaven, Budget and Finance Director
