Washington State FFA Agicultural Education Champion
WHEREAS: Lillianna McGuffin is a junior at Kittitas High School who is a dedicated leader within the Kittitas
FFAchaPter;and
WHEREAS: On May 16, 2026, atthe washington State FFA Convention in Pullman' wA, Lillianna eamed I't
place in theAgricultural Education competition; and
yTTEREAS: By earning this prestigious achievement, Lillianna became the frst FFA member from Kittitas High
School to qualify for the National FFA Convention to be held in Indianapolis, Indiana from October
2l-24,2026, and
yITEREAS: Lillianna will proudly represent her FFA chapter, Kittitas High School, her family, and the citizens
f Kittitas County on the national stage; and
WHEREAS: Her dedication, leadership, hard work and commitment to agriculture education serve as an
inspiration to students throughout Kittitas County;
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RBSOLVED: that the Kittitas county Board of county commissioners hereby
recognizes and congratulates Liilianna on winning the washington Siate FFA Agricultural Education competition
and extends best lvishes for continued success at the National FFA convention and request that the citizens of
Kittitas county join them in celebrating and honoring Lillianna for this outstanding achievement and declare July 3'
2026, as "Lillianna McGuffin Day" in Kittitas County
