WIAA 28 Track & Field - 100M Dash State champion
yHEREAS: Hayden Mede is a student completing his junior year at cle Elum-Roslyn High School and
has demonstrated exceptional leadership as a member of the Track & Field team; and
WHEREAS: Hayden captured the wIAA 28 100M Dash State championship title on saturday May 30,
z026,at Eisenhower High School, in Yakima, Washington, with a winning time of 10'88
seconds;
WHEREAS: Hayden,s achievement reflects countless hours of hard work, determination, discipline, and
dedication to excellence in both academics and athletics; and
WIIEREAS: Hayden has represented his teammates, family, Cle-Elum-Roslyn High School an-d-the
. citizens of Kittitas County with pride, integriiy, and sportsmanship through his athletic
career; and
Now, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED: that the Kittitas county Board of comrnissioners hereby
requests that the citizens of Kittitas County join them in-celebrating and honoring Hayden for his
achievement and hereby proclaims June 26,- 2026, as "Hayden Mede Day" in Kittitas County'
