PROCLAMATION <br />"Jalina Blackmore DaY" <br />Jnne 23,2026 <br />WIAA 2B Track & Field - High Jump State Champion <br />WHEREAS: Jalina Blackmore is a student completing her junior year at Kittitas High School and has <br />demonstrated exceptional leadership as a member of their Track & Field team; and <br />WHEREAS: Jalina has achieved another outstanding Track & Field season eaming I't place at the <br />EWAC League Championships; a tie for 1't place at the District 5 Championships; and <br />capturing G WIae Zg Uigh Jump State Championship for the second consecutive year <br />on Saturiay May 30,2026, at Eisenhower High School, Zaepfel stadium, inYakima, <br />Washington, with a championship jump of 5 feet 6 inches; and <br />WHEREAS: Jalina should be recognized for her hard work, determination, and commitment to both <br />academics in the classroom and in athletics, while proudly representing her teammates, <br />fainily, Kittitas High School and the citizens of Kittitas County; <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED: The Board of county commissioners requests that the <br />citizens of Kittitas county join them in celebrating and honoring Jalina for her achievement as the WIAA <br />28 Track & Field High Jump State Charnpion and hereby cleclares June 23,2026, as "Jalina Blackmore <br />Day" in Kittitas CountY. <br />ADOPTED this 16th daY of June2026 <br />THE KITTITAS COUNTY <br />BO COMMISSIONERS <br />\ry t, ch <br />Brett \4/ch Vice-Chairman <br />c Kjo l<, Cler"k of the Eoarcl <br />I-a Commissioner
