Public Notice <br />Ifittitas County, Ellensburg WA <br />NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a public hearing will be held by the Kittitas County board of commissioners in the <br />Commissioner's Auditorium, 205 West 5thAve, Room 109, Kittitas County Courthouse on June 16,2026, at2pm. <br />The purpose of the public hearing is to review community development and housing needs, inform citizens of the <br />availability of funds and eligible uses of the state Community Development Block Grant (CDBG), and receive comments on <br />proposed activities, particularly from lower income persons residing in the Kittitas County area. Comments on Kittitas <br />County and HopeSource past performance and use of the prior CDBG Public Selices Grants will also be received. <br />For the 2026 program year (July 2026 - June 2027), up to $81,000,00 is proposed to be available to Kittitas County and <br />HopeSource to fund public serices that principally benefit low- and moderate-income persons. For the 2024-2025 program <br />years, Kittitas County and HopeSource received $81,000.00. <br />An ontline of the proposed activities and services for the 2026 program year will be available for review on the Kittitas <br />County Website Board of Kittitas County Commissioners Agenda & Minutes page. Comments may also be submitted in <br />writing to Kittitas County Board of County Commissioners by Tuesday, June 16, 2026, at 2:00pm. <br />The Cornmissioner's Auditorium is handicap accessible. Arrangements to reasonably accommodate special needs, including <br />handicap accessibility or interpreter, will be made upon receiving 24-hour advance notice.
