ACTION REQUESTED:
The Board of County Commissioners approves the execution of an agreement between Kittitas
County and Habitat for Humanity for the Floral Avenue Affordable Housing Development.
(effective Date: 05/01/25-06/30/27)
BACKGROUND:
Contractor will construct five 2-bedroom duplexes and single-family homes at Third St and
Floral Ave in Cle Elum. Units will be reserved as affordable housing for individuals or families
at or below 80% of Area Medium Income in Kittitas County. The amendment extends the
contract end date to June 30, 2026.
INTERACTION:
Kittitas County Prosecutors: Reviewed and approved 05/21/26.
Kittitas County Auditors: Reviewed and approved 05/21/26.
RECOMMENDATION:
The Board of County Commissioners approves the execution of an agreement between Kittitas
County and Habitat for Humanity for the Floral Avenue Affordable Housing Development.
