AGENDA DATE: June 2, 2026
ACTION REQUESTED: Request to Approve a Resolution Authorizing Amendments to the
Kittitas County Law and Justice Council’s Mission Statement and By-Laws.
BACKGROUND: On April 15, 2026, during a regular meeting, the Law and Justice
Council voted to approve the amendments to the Kittitas County Law
and Justice Council Mission Statement and By-Laws.
The amendments remove the Mental Health/Developmental
Disabilities and Youth Mentoring and Prevention standing
committees and add language for a liaison position to support council
needs, projects, and collaborations.
INTERACTION: The Prosecutor’s office has reviewed and signed the proposed
Resolution. The Prosecutor advised documents are legally sufficient
– LRA 12297.
RECOMMENDATION: Approve Resolution for Authorization to Ratify Amendments to the
Kittitas County Law and Justice Council’s Mission Statement and By-
Laws.
