KITTITAS COUNTY <br />Board of County Commissioners <br /> <br />AGENDA STAFF REPORT <br /> <br />AGENDA DATE: June 2, 2026 <br /> <br />ACTION REQUESTED: Request to Approve a Resolution Authorizing Amendments to the <br />Kittitas County Law and Justice Council’s Mission Statement and By-Laws. <br /> <br /> <br />BACKGROUND: On April 15, 2026, during a regular meeting, the Law and Justice <br />Council voted to approve the amendments to the Kittitas County Law <br />and Justice Council Mission Statement and By-Laws. <br /> <br /> The amendments remove the Mental Health/Developmental <br />Disabilities and Youth Mentoring and Prevention standing <br />committees and add language for a liaison position to support council <br />needs, projects, and collaborations. <br /> <br /> <br />INTERACTION: The Prosecutor’s office has reviewed and signed the proposed <br />Resolution.
