AGENDA DATE: June 2, 2026
ACTION REQUESTED: Request to Set a Public Hearing on June 16, 2026, at 2:00 pm local
time to consider Equipment surplus to Kittitas County’s needs and
authorize disposal of same in accordance with RCW 36.34.080.
BACKGROUND: The following equipment is surplus to the county’s needs:

The Department of Public Works requests that a Public Hearing be held
June 16, 2026, at 2:00 pm local time to declare the above-listed
equipment surplus to the county’s needs and authorize disposal of same.
The Department of Public Works plans to surplus the equipment in
accordance with RCW 36.34.080.
Equipment replacement was covered by Public Works funds in 2025.
INTERACTION: Public Works
RECOMMENDATION: Set a Public Hearing for June 16, 2026, at 2:00 pm local time to
consider equipment surplus to the county’s needs and authorize
disposal of same.
