<br /> <br />BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />COUNTY OF KITTITAS <br />STATE OF WASHINGTON <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING THE ALGORITHM AND DISTRIBUTION FOR <br />DEVELOPMENTAL DISABILITIES MILLAGE FUNDING TO CURRENT <br />DEVELOPMENTAL DISABILITIES ADMINISTRATION SUBCONTRACTORS <br /> <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2026-____ <br /> <br />WHEREAS, in accordance with RCW 71.20.110, Kittitas County has levied an annual tax to <br />collect funds for the coordination and provision of community services for <br />persons with developmental disabilities or mental health services, hereby referred <br />to as “millage”; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, resolution 2024-090 authorizes the allocation for millage tax revenue to the <br />Kittitas County Public Health Department (KCPHD); and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, KCPHD has finalized a policy for developmental disabilities-specific millage that <br />includes policy planning from KCPHD, Kittitas County Prosecutor, and a <br />representative from the Developmental Disabilities Advisory Committee; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Kittitas County Board of Commissioners (BOCC) has the discretion for the <br />use of millage funding; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the BOCC wishes to fund current Developmental Disabilities Administration <br />(DDA) employment and day services subcontractors to supplement services and <br />activities that are not funded through other sources; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the BOCC approved a funding algorithm presented by KCPHD on February 26, <br />2025 during the regularly scheduled public health study session. <br /> <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of County Commissioners hereby adopts <br />the algorithm and funding distribution found in Exhibit A for the use of 2025 developmental <br />disabilities millage tax revenue to DDA subcontractors for employment and day services. <br /> <br />ADOPTED this day of 2026. <br /> <br /> BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISIONERS <br /> KITTITAS COUNTY, WASHINGTON <br /> <br />
