MAY 18, 2026 <br /> <br />Board members present: Chairman Cory Wright; Vice-Chairman Brett <br />Wachsmith; Commissioner Laura Osiadacz. <br /> <br />Others: Mandy Buchholz, Office Administrator; Jodi Larsen, Office <br />Administrator; Julie Kjorsvik, Clerk of the Board; Stephanie <br />Hartung, Chief Civil Deputy Prosecutor; and two members of the <br />public. <br /> <br />REGULAR MEETING OFFICE STAFF MEETING COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />At 9:00 a.m. Chairman Wright opened the Office Administration <br />meeting. <br /> <br />PUBLIC COMMENT - NONE <br /> <br />CALENDAR WEEK AT A GLANCE COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />The Board of County Commissioners reviewed their weekly calendar. <br /> <br />PAF/VOUCHERS REVIEW OF PAF’S & VOUCHERS COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />The Board of County Commissioners approved and signed County <br />Employee Personnel Action Forms and Vouchers. <br /> <br />CORRESPONDENCE LOG REVIEW OF CORRESPONDENCE LOG COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />The Board of County Commissioners reviewed the weekly Correspondence <br />Log, a listing of all incoming mail and correspondence for the week <br />ending May 15, 2026. <br /> <br />DISCUSSION PROSECUTOR STUDY SESSION COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />Stephanie Hartung, Chief Civil Deputy Prosecutor, explained that she <br />would like the Board to consider setting up regular study sessions <br />with the Prosecutor’s Office. She stated that she thinks this could <br />be a very helpful tool for her Department to update the BOCC on <br />Department happenings: report on crime trends (increases and <br />decreases), victim/witness updates, including changes to state <br />funding and how that impacts local entities, as well as civil <br />updates (could include litigation updates here), among other <br />topics. She stated that she envisions this being a short, <br />organized, regular update to the BOCC (monthly). Vice-Chairman <br />Wachsmith questioned if they should consider trying them out
