AGENDA STAFF REPORT
AGENDA DATE: May 19, 2026
ACTION REQUESTED: Request to Acknowledge the 2026 Contract and Statement of
Work between the Bureau of Land Management and the Kittitas County Sheriff’s Office.
BACKGROUND: The Sheriff’s Office and the Bureau of Land Management have had
an extensive relationship in years past. The purpose of this order is to obtain Law
Enforcement services as needed to assist the Bureau of Land Management in
administration and regulation of the use and occupancy of the public lands which the
Bureau oversees.
INTERACTION: The Kittitas County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office has reviewed and
approved.
RECOMMENDATION: Request to Acknowledge the 2026 Contract and Statement of
Work between the Bureau of Land Management and the Kittitas County Sheriff’s Office.
HANDLING: None.
