Kittitas County <br />Public Health Department <br /> <br />Agenda Staff Report <br /> <br />AGENDA DATE: <br />May 5, 2026 <br /> <br />ACTION REQUESTED: <br />The Board of County Commissioners approves the signature of the Public Health Director on the <br />contract between Washington State Department of Ecology Amendment 1 and Kittitas County <br />Public Health. (Effective: 07.01.25-06.30.27) <br /> <br />BACKGROUND: <br />The amendment decreases funding by$ 8,649.33. The purpose of the agreement is for the <br />contractor to provide a Pollution Prevention Assistance (PPA) Specialist who will provide <br />technical assistance and education outreach to small quantity generators in an effort to prevent <br />pollution of waters of the state as part of the Pollution Prevention Assistance Partnership. <br /> <br />INTERACTION: <br />Kittitas County Prosecutors: Reviewed and approved April 27, 2026. <br />Kittitas County Auditors: Reviewed and approved April 28, 2026. <br /> <br />RECOMMENDATION: <br />The Board of County Commissioners approves the signature of the Public Health Director on the <br />contract Agreement between Washington State Department of Ecology Amendment 1 and <br />Kittitas County Public Health.
