HomeMy WebLinkAboutTitle III - Ad for Public CommentThe Kittitas County Sheriff’s Office’s has received Title III funds from the US Forest Service through
Washington State. Title III funds, under P.L. 115-141, section 302(a)(2) provides that Title III funds may be
used to reimburse counties for search and rescue and other emergency response activities, including
firefighting and law enforcement patrols, performed on national forests. It is our intention to spend
these funds to improve/update equipment within our Search and Rescue Division. Here is a list of the
items we are considering:
Resue Drift Boat/Raft/Trailer, Rescue Banana Boat, Awning for Command Post, Drone Software,
Gear for Search and Rescue Coordinators, and operating supplies.
We have received $41,212.69 for Fiscal year 2026.
We welcome any public comments.
