<br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />COUNTY OF KITTITAS <br />STATE OF WASHINGTON <br /> <br />RESOLUTION <br /> <br />NO.: 2026- <br /> <br />TO CHANGE THE REGULAR OFFICE HOURS OF THE KITTITAS COUNTY <br />CORONER’S OFFICE <br /> <br />WHEREAS: The Kittitas County Board of Commissioners has the authority, pursuant <br />to RCW 36.16.100 and KCCC 2.20.010, to modify and approve changes, <br />via resolution, to the hours of operation that County offices shall be open <br />for the transaction of business; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS: The Kittitas County Coroner’s Office has requested that its office hours be <br />changed from its current hours of 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through <br />Friday, to 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday through Friday; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS: The Kittitas County Coroner’s Office employees will continue to work an <br />8-hour day with this business hour schedule; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS: Other offices on the second floor of the Morris-Sorenson building, where <br />the Coroner’s Office is located, already close at 4:00 PM; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS: The proposed revised business hours will provide increased security and <br />safety for County employees. <br /> <br />WHEREAS: The Kittitas County Board of Commissioners authorizes said change in <br />office hours for the Kittitas County Coroner’s Office by action taken at a regular meeting.
