KITTITAS COUNTY <br />SHERIFF'S OFFICE <br />AGENDA STAFF REPORT <br />AGENDA DATE: April 21, 2026 <br />ACTION REQUESTED: Acknowledge the Traffic and Criminal Software (TraCS) <br />Agreement between The Kittitas County Sheriff s Office and Washington State Patrol. <br />BACKGROUND: The "TraCS" system is replacing Sector across the state. This system <br />is used to issue NOI's and canbe used to issue Criminal citations. <br />The purpose of this Agreement is to provide Kittitas County Sheriff s Office access to the <br />WSP's Traffic and Criminal Software (TraCS). This Agreement defines roles and <br />expectations regarding the Traffic and Criminal software (TraCS) processes record <br />sharing and use practices, and the method for resolving technical issues. <br />INTERACTION: The Traffic and Criminal Software (TraCS) Agreement has been <br />reviewed and approved by the Kittitas County Prosecutor's Office. <br />RECOMMENDATION: Acknowledge the Traffic and Criminal Software (TraCS) <br />Agreement between The Kittitas County Sheriffs Office and Washington State Patrol. <br />HANDLING: None <br />LEAD STAFF: Command Staff <br />
