MARCH 17, 2026 <br /> <br />Board members present: Chairman Cory Wright; Vice-Chairman Brett <br />Wachsmith and Commissioner Laura Osiadacz. <br /> <br />Others: Julie Kjorsvik, Clerk of the Board; Mandy Buchholz, Office <br />Administrator; Jamey Ayling, Planning Manager; Chad Bala, CDS <br />Director; and 8 members of the public. <br /> <br />PUBLIC HEARING SUNCADIA DEVELOPMENT AGREEMENT EXTENSION CDS <br /> <br />At 2:00 p.m. CHAIRMAN WRIGHT opened a Public Hearing continued from <br />February 17, 2026, to consider a 15-Year extension to the existing <br />Development Agreement for Suncadia DV-25-0001. He noted the record <br />was closed. <br /> <br />JAMEY AYLING, PLANNING MANAGER provided an update on the proposed <br />Development Agreement and what had been added since the last Public <br />Hearing and recommended approval of the proposed extension including <br />an annual review of conditions and compliance. <br /> <br />COMMISSIONER OSIADACZ moved to continue the Public Hearing until May <br />19, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. to allow Staff time to create materials on <br />what it would look like and implement an annual review process. <br />VICE-CHAIRMAN WACHSMITH seconded. <br /> <br />Motion carried 3-0. <br /> <br />The meeting concluded at 2:15 p.m. <br /> <br />KITTITAS COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />CLERK OF THE BOARD KITTITAS COUNTY, WASHINGTON <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />Julie Kjorsvik Cory Wright, Chairman
