KITTITAS COI.INTY <br />DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS <br />AGENDA DATE <br />ACTION REQUESTEI) <br />AGENDA STAFF REPORT <br />March 17,2026 <br />Request to Approve the Resolution to Authorize the <br />Chairman's Signature on a Letter Amending an Interlocal <br />Agreement between the Kittitas County Flood Control <br />Zone District and the Kittitas County Conservation District' <br />BACKGROUND: <br />INTERACTION: <br />RECOMMENDATION: <br />HANDLING: <br />ATTACHMENTS: <br />LEAD STAFF: <br />The Kittitas County Flood Control Zone District and the <br />Kittitas County Conservation District entered into an <br />Interlocal Agreement to finalize the design of the Whiskey <br />Creek at Ellensburg Water Company Siphon Project and <br />provide construction support services. Before the design <br />can be finalized,the Flood Control Zone District must <br />secrre the necessary land interests and is currently working <br />through this process. To allow sufficient time to complete <br />this work, the parties propose extending the agreement by <br />one yeaf. <br />Public Works. <br />Move to Approve the Resolution to Authorize the <br />Chairman's Signature on a Letter Amending an Interlocal <br />Agreement between the Kittitas County Flood Control <br />Zone District and the Kittitas County Conservation District. <br />Return two (2) original to Public Works. <br />Resolution <br />Arden Thomas, Water Resource Program Manager
