Kittitas County <br />Solid Waste <br /> <br />Agenda Staff Report <br /> <br />AGENDA DATE: <br />4/7/2026 <br /> <br />ACTION REQUESTED: <br />Request Board of County Commissioners approval for the Facilities and Waste Operations Director to sign <br />Change Order 10. <br /> <br />BACKGROUND: <br />Kittitas County entered into a contract with Belsaas & Smith Construction for the Renovation and <br />Improvements to the Kittitas County Jail. <br /> <br />This change is a no cost change to add addition time due to the delay in the detention doors. The cost for <br />changing to these doors was included in an earlier change order. At the time of the earlier change order the <br />manufacturer could not give the delivery date for the doors. <br /> <br />INTERACTION: <br />Knit Architecture, and Maintenance. <br /> <br />RECOMMENDATION: <br />Recommend Board of County Commissioner approval for the Facilities and Waste Operations Director to <br />sign Change Order 10. <br /> <br />HANDLING: <br />Return to Maintenance for signature <br /> <br />LEAD STAFF: <br />Patti Stacey <br />
