D, Ii\t <br />KITTITAS COLINTY <br />DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS <br />AGENDA DATE <br />ACTION REQUESTED: <br />AGENDA STAFF REPORT <br />March 3,2026 <br />Request to Approve a Resolutionto Award2026 <br />Distressed County Sales and Use Tax Funds and <br />authorize execution of the 2026Distressed County <br />Sales and Use Tax Funds Infrastructure Improvement <br />Program Agreement with Kittitas County Chamber of <br />Commerce. <br />BACKGROUND: <br />INTERACTION <br />RECOMMENDATION <br />HANDLING: <br />ATTACHMENTS: <br />At the January 2I,2026, regularly scheduled meeting, <br />the Conference of Governments received a <br />presentation from the Kittitas County Chamber of <br />Commerce regarding personnel funding for 2026. <br />After discussion, the Conference of Governments <br />recommended funding personnel for 2026 to the <br />Kittitas County Chamber of Commerce in the amount <br />of $212,200.00 for personnel and consultant support. <br />Based on the motion approved by the Conference of <br />Governments, Public Works has prepare d the 2026 <br />Distressed County Sales and Use Tax Infrastructure <br />Improvement Program Agreement with Kittitas <br />County Chamber of Commerce in the amount of <br />$212,200.00.
