KITTITAS COUNTY <br />DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS <br /> <br />2026 AGENDA STAFF REPORT <br /> <br /> <br />AGENDA DATE: February 17, 2026 <br /> <br />ACTION REQUESTED: Request to Approve a Resolution Authorizing Chair <br />Signature on the Digital Submittal Certification of <br />the Road Levy Certification to the County Road <br />Administration Board <br /> <br /> <br />BACKGROUND: Kittitas County Department of Public Works is <br />required (WAC 136-150) on an annual basis to <br />submit a certification of the road levy fixed and the <br />amount, if any, budgeted for traffic law <br />enforcement to the County Road Administration <br />Board (CRAB). This certification is a report <br />required by CRAB that includes information <br />regarding the road levy, diversion, estimated <br />revenue and bank capacity (Exhibit 1). <br /> <br /> CRAB utilizes an electronic submittal process for <br />the Digital Submittal Certification. In place of <br />submitting paper documents the Digital Signature <br />Certification is signed and submitted electronically <br />through the County Annual Reporting System <br />(CARS). <br /> <br />INTERACTION: Public Works <br /> <br />RECOMMENDATION: Approve the Resolution Authorizing Chair digital <br />Signature on the Digital Submittal Certification to <br />the County Road Administration Board. <br /> <br />HANDLING: Return one (1) original to Public Works <br /> <br />ATTACHMENTS: Resolution <br /> <br />LEAD STAFF: Joshua Fredrickson, PW Director
