<br />ACTION REQUESTED: Request to Approve Adoption of the Distribution of 2026 Hotel/Motel
<br />Tax Fund Grants.

<br />
<br />BACKGROUND: The combined county-wide Consolidated Lodging Tax Committee
<br />(CLTAC) met in an open public meeting on November 14, 2025, at
<br />the Ellensburg City Hall to deliberate and reach a final funding
<br />recommendation that has been forwarded to each entity’s legislative
<br />body for final approval. At the meeting, awards were approved for
<br />final 2026 Consolidated Lodging Tax Committee allocations totaling
<br />$480,887.39.
<br />
<br />INTERACTION: The awards and reimbursements will be pooled, and all municipalities
<br />will fund a percentage of each award reimbursement based on the
<br />percentage of their total contribution to the pool (see table below for
<br />the County’s reimbursement obligations).

<br />RECOMMENDATION: Approve the Resolution Adopting the Distribution of the 2026
<br />Hotel/Motel Tax Funds Grants.
