JANUARY 20, 2026 <br /> <br />Board members present: Chairman Cory Wright; Vice-Chairman Brett <br />Wachsmith; Commissioner Laura Osiadacz. <br /> <br />Others: Mandy Buchholz, Office Administrator; Julie Kjorsvik, Clerk <br />of the Board; Jodi Larsen, Office Administrator; Cody Cupp, <br />Assistant Maintenance Director; Jeanne Killgore, HR Director. <br /> <br />SPECIAL MEETING OFFICE STAFF MEETING COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />At 9:00 a.m. Chairman Wright opened the Office Administration <br />meeting. <br /> <br />PUBLIC COMMENT - NONE <br /> <br />CALENDAR WEEK AT A GLANCE COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />The Board of County Commissioners reviewed their weekly calendar. <br /> <br />PAF/VOUCHERS REVIEW OF PAF’S & VOUCHERS COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />The Board of County Commissioners approved and signed County <br />Employee Personnel Action Forms and Vouchers. <br /> <br />CORRESPONDENCE LOG REVIEW OF CORRESPONDENCE LOG COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />The Board of County Commissioners reviewed the weekly Correspondence <br />Log, a listing of all incoming mail and correspondence for the week <br />ending January 16, 2026. <br /> <br />LETTER FIRE DIST. #1 COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />Vice-Chairman Wachsmith moved to approve and authorize Board <br />signature on a letter to the Chair of Fire Dist. #1 Fire <br />Commissioner Craig George, requesting payment of fire protection <br />assessment fees on tax-exempt structures owned by the County. <br />Commissioner Osiadacz seconded. Motion carried 3-0. <br /> <br />APPOINTMENT AIRPORT - GEULA COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />Vice-Chairman Wachsmith moved to approve the appointment of Naisan <br />Geula to the Kittitas County Airport Advisory Committee for a 3-year <br />term effective immediately and to expire on 12/31/2028. Commissioner <br />Osiadacz seconded. Motion carried 3-0.
