KITTITAS COUNTY <br />SOLID WASTE DEPARTMENT <br /> <br /> AGENDA STAFF REPORT <br /> <br /> <br />AGENDA DATE: January 20, 2026 <br /> <br />ACTION REQUESTED: Request Boards to consider a Resolution to surplus county <br />property. <br /> <br /> <br />BACKGROUND: Kittitas County Solid Waste is constructing a new lower county <br />transfer station facility. As part of the new transfer station facility, we will be moving the <br />existing Solid Waste office and Moderate Risk Waste facility to 2306 Green Ave. With <br />this move the Solid Waste Department will no longer need the property located at 925 S. <br />Industrial Way. <br /> <br />The Solid Waste Department requests to surplus the property located at 925 S. Industrial <br />Way, Ellensburg, WA, Parcel 078533. <br /> <br />INTERACTION: Solid Waste Department, and Prosecutors Office. <br /> <br />RECOMMENDATION: Request Boards approval of resolution to consider surplus of <br />county property. <br /> <br />HANDLING: Return copy of Resolution <br /> <br />ATTACHMENTS: Resolution <br /> <br />LEAD STAFF: Patti Stacey, Solid Waste Director. <br />
