Kittitas County <br />Public Health Department <br /> <br />Agenda Staff Report <br /> <br />AGENDA DATE: <br />January 20,2026 <br /> <br />ACTION REQUESTED: <br />The Board of County Commissioners approves a resolution that authorizes execution of <br />Agreements for Services for Recipients of 1/10th funds. <br /> <br />BACKGROUND: <br />The Board of County Commissioners established a Mental Health Tax via Kittitas County <br />Ordinance NO 2021-017 and the proceeds generated from the tax imposed are to be used to fund <br />programs related to chemical dependency, mental health treatment, or therapeutic courts. The <br />BOCC have approved funding awards for the following agencies: <br />• Boys and Girls Club <br />• CWU <br />• Kittitas County Health Network <br />• Peers Rising <br />• Upper County Senior Center <br />• HopeSource <br /> <br /> <br />INTERACTION: <br />Kittitas County Prosecutors: Reviewed and approved. <br />Kittitas County Auditors: Reviewed and approved <br /> <br />RECOMMENDATION: <br />The Board of County Commissioners approves a resolution that authorizes execution of <br />Agreements for Services for Recipients of 1/10th funds. <br /> <br />HANDLING: <br />N/A <br /> <br />LEAD STAFF: <br />Kasey Knutson
