JANUARY 6, 2026 <br /> <br />Board members present: Chairman Cory Wright; Vice-Chairman Brett <br />Wachsmith and Commissioner Laura Osiadacz. <br /> <br />Others: Julie Kjorsvik, Clerk of the Board; Mandy Buchholz, Office <br />Administrator; Josh Fredrickson, Public Works Director; and 1 member <br />of the public. <br /> <br />PUBLIC HEARING AIRPORT LEASE - NICKERSON PUBLIC WORKS <br /> <br />At 2:00 p.m. CHAIRMAN WRIGHT opened a Public Hearing to consider A <br />Lease with Kelly Nickerson for property located at the Kittitas <br />County Airport, Bowers Field. <br /> <br />JOSH FREDRICKSON, PUBLIC WORKS DIRECTOR, reviewed a Staff Report and <br />recommended approval of a Lease for property at Bowers Field Airport <br />for Lot H-15B with Kelly Nickerson to construct a private hangar. <br /> <br />THERE BEING NO ONE REQUESTING TO TESTIFY, THE PUBLIC PORTION OF THE <br />HEARING WAS CLOSED. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION 2026-002 AIRPORT LEASE – NICKERSON PUBLIC WORKS <br /> <br />VICE-CHAIRMAN WACHSMITH moved to Approve Resolution No. 2026-002, <br />Authorizing a Lease with Kelly Nickerson, for Property at Bowers <br />Field. COMMISSIONER OSIADACZ seconded.
