JANUARY 6, 2026 <br /> <br />Board members present: Chairman Cory Wright; Vice-Chairman Brett <br />Wachsmith, and Commissioner Laura Osiadacz. <br /> <br />Others: Julie Kjorsvik, Clerk of the Board; Mandy Buchholz, Office <br />Administrator; Patti Stacey, Facilities Director; Cori McKean, Coroner; <br />Arden Thomas, Water Resource Program Manager; Bryan Elliott, Auditor; <br />Nancy Shaff, Chief Administrative Deputy; Chad Bala, CDS Director; <br />Stephanie Hartung, Chief Civil Deputy Prosecutor; and Jayme Ayling, <br />Planning Manager. <br /> <br />CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br />Commissioner Osiadacz called the meeting to order. <br /> <br />PLEDGE OF ALLEGIENCE <br /> <br />Commissioner Osiadacz led the Pledge of Allegiance. <br /> <br />NOMINATIONS FOR 2026 CHAIRMAN AND VICE-CHAIRMAN <br /> <br />Commissioner Wachsmith moved to nominate and appoint Commissioner Wright <br />to serve as the 2026 Chairman of the Kittitas County Board of <br />Commissioners. Commissioner Osiadacz seconded. Motion carried 3-0. <br /> <br />Commissioner Osiadacz moved to nominate and appoint Commissioner <br />Wachsmith to serve as the 2026 Vice-Chairman of the Kittitas County <br />Board of Commissioners. Commissioner Wright seconded. Motion carried 3- <br />0. <br /> <br />INTRODUCTION OF NEW COUNTY EMPLOYEES - NONE <br /> <br />PROCLAMATIONS - NONE <br /> <br />AWARDS & RECOGNITIONS - NONE <br /> <br />APPROVAL OF AGENDA <br /> <br />Vice-Chairman Wachsmith moved to approve the Agenda, as presented. <br />Commissioner Osiadacz seconded. Motion carried 3-0.
