a <br />KITTITAS COT]NTY <br />BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />AGENDA STAFF REPORT <br />AGENDA DATE:December 16,2025 <br />ACTION REQUESTED:Request to Set a Public Hearing for January 6,2026, at 2:00 p.m. <br />local time to consider a Lease with Kelly Nickerson for properly <br />located at the Kiuitas County Airport, Bowers Field. <br />BACKGROUND:Kelly Nickerson has requested to lease Lot H-15B of the Bowers <br />Field Binding Site Plan for the purpose of constructing a private <br />airplane hangar. The lease rate is set at $0.16 per square foot for the <br />standard lease term of thirty (30) years. The Prosecuting Attomey's <br />Office has reviewed the agreement and has addressed the questions <br />Mr. Nickerson had regarding the lease agreement.
