KITTITAS COUNTY <br />CDS STUDY SESSION MINUTES <br />COMMISSIONERS' AUDITORIUM, 205 WEST 5th ROOM 109 <br />Regular Meeting <br />MONDAY 2:30 PM December 8, 2025 <br />Board members present: Chairman Laura Osiadacz and Vice -Chairman <br />Cory Wright. <br />Others: Chad Bala, Laura Kukes, and Jessica Miller, Community <br />Development Services, Stephanie Hartung, and Molly McDowell, <br />Prosecuting Attorney's Office, Zack DeHaven, Auditor's Office, <br />no (0) members of the public. <br />At 2:34 pm Chair Osiadacz opened the Community Development <br />Services Study Session. <br />CITIZEN COMMENTS <br />There were no citizen comments. <br />EXECUTIVE SESSION <br />At 2:35 p.m. Chairman Osiadacz announced the Board would recess <br />into an Executive Session for 10 minutes, with Chad Bala, CDS <br />Director, Zack DeHaven, Budget & Finance Director, under RCW <br />42.30.110(1.)(i.) to discuss with legal counsel representing the <br />agency matter relating to agency enforcement actions, or to <br />discuss with legal counsel representing the agency litigation or <br />potential litigation to which the agency, the governing body, or <br />a member acting in an official capacity is, or is likely to <br />become, a party, when public knowledge regarding the discussion <br />is likely to result in an adverse legal or financial consequence <br />to the agency. Staff direction anticipated. <br />At 2:45 p.m. Chairman Osiadacz reconvened out of Executive <br />Session. The Board provided direction to staff. <br />At 2:45 p.m. Chairman Osiadacz announced the Board would recess <br />back into an Executive Session for 5 minutes under RCW <br />42.30.110(1.)(i.) to discuss with legal counsel representing the <br />2025-12-08 MINUTES 1 <br />
