(Effective: <br />01.01.25-12.31.26) <br /> <br />BACKGROUND: <br />The Amendment to the KC Friends of Animals agreement updates the scope of work. The 1/10th <br />of 1% Mental Health and Chemical Dependency Tax funding award to private financial <br />veterinary assistance to animals owned by youth, veterans, and seniors in Kittitas County. <br /> <br />INTERACTION: <br />Kittitas County Prosecutors: Reviewed and approved December 1, 2025. <br />Kittitas County Auditors: Reviewed and approved December 5, 2025. <br /> <br />RECOMMENDATION: <br />The Board of County Commissioners approves a Resolution to authorize contract amendment for <br />a Contract between Kittitas County and Kittitas County Friends of Animals.
