BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />COUNTY OF KITTITAS <br />STATE OF WASHINGTON <br />RESOLUTION TO ACKNOWLEDGE LETTER AND ACCEPT UPDATED TIMELINE <br />RESOLUTION No. 2025 <br />WHEREAS: On January 3, 2023, the Kittitas County Board of County Commissioners <br />("BOCC") entered into a real property lease with C.R. Wales Investment LLC., <br />("Lessee") for the lease of real property; and <br />WHEREAS: On March 4, 2025, at Lessee's request, the BOCC signed Resolution No. 2025-051, <br />for the purpose of extending the timeline for the opening of the Bowling Alley to a <br />new date of December 31, 2025; and <br />WHEREAS: Lessee has been diligently working to deal with unforeseen delays encountered <br />while making the necessary upgrades to the facility; and <br />WHEREAS: On October 14, 2025, Lessee submitted a letter requesting a second extension of <br />the timeline for the opening of the Bowling Alley, with a proposed date of July 1, <br />2026; and <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED that the Board of County Commissioners <br />hereby acknowledges the October 14, 2025 letter requesting to extend the timeline <br />for the opening of the Bowling Alley from December 31, 2025 to July 1, 2026, and <br />accepts the updated timeline. <br />ADOPTED this day of November, 2025. <br />BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />KITTITAS COUNTY, WASHINGTON <br />Chair <br />Vice -Chair <br />Commissioner <br />ATTEST: APPROVED AS TO FORM: <br />
