2025-10-14 MINUTES <br />KITTITAS COUNTY <br />HR STUDY SESSION MINUTES <br />BOCC CONFERENCE ROOM, 205 W 5TH AVE., ROOM 108, ELLENSBURG <br />Regular Meeting <br /> <br />TUESDAY 10:00 AM 10/14/2025 <br /> <br />Board Members Laura Osiadacz, Cory Wright, Brett Wachsmith <br />Others Present: Greg Zempel, Therese Murphy, Miko Tempski, Chris Whitsett, Steve Panattoni, Zane Kinney, <br />Jeanne Killgore <br /> <br />CALL TO ORDER <br />The meeting was called to order at 10:00 AM. <br />CITIZEN COMMENTS (1 MINUTE TIME LIMIT) <br />None. <br />REQUEST TO APPROVE A LETTER OF AGREEMENT (LOA) BETWEEN KITTITAS COUNTY AND <br />LOCAL 760 (UNIFORMED JAIL) IN THE MATTER OF CLARIFYING RETIREE WELFARE TRUST <br />(RWT) PARTICIPATION LANGUAGE <br />HR Director Killgore summarized that the current union contract language does not address the RWT plan’s <br />requirement that an employee must be compensated for at least 80 hours in the previous month to qualify for the <br />County’s monthly contribution. The LOA with the union will clarify the participation requirement. Commissioner <br />Wright moved to approve an LOA between Kittitas County and Teamsters 760 (Uniformed Jail) to clarify the <br />RWT language. Commissioner Wachsmith seconded the motion.
