<br /> <br />9/22/2025 <br /> <br />Kittitas County Board of Commissioners <br />205 W 5th Street <br />Ellensburg, WA 98926 <br /> <br /> <br />Dear Board of County Commissioners, <br /> <br />Subject: Recommendation for Funding Proposals <br /> <br />We, the members of the 1/10th of 1% Mental Health and Chemical Dependency Tax Advisory <br />Board, are writing to formally recommend funding for: <br />Boys and Girls Club – STRIVE: Support, Tools, and Resilience for Inspiring Vulnerable Youth <br />CWU Community Clinic <br />HopeSource - Behavioral Health Bridge Program <br />Kittitas County Health Network – THRIVE Youth Mentoring <br />Peers Rising – Warmth & Wellness: Resilience and Life Skills Support in Kittitas County <br />Upper Kittitas County Senior Center – AccessPlus: Serving our Seniors and Heroes <br /> <br />After thorough consideration and evaluation, we believe that th ese proposals align with the <br />committee’s priorities and mission and warrants financial support to achieve their goals. <br />Our committee has reviewed the applications, proposed budgets, and supporting documents <br />for the projects recommended above. We have scored the applications with consideration for <br />the potential impact, feasibility, and sustainability of the project, considering the needs of our <br />community and the available resources.
