Ruby St., Suite 2, Ellensburg, WA 98926 <br />CDS@CO.KITTITAS.WA.US <br />Office (509) 962-7506 <br /> <br /> <br />“Building Partnerships – Building Communities” <br /> <br />BOCC AGENDA <br />STAFF REPORT <br /> <br /> <br />AGENDA DATE: October 21, 2025 <br /> <br />ACTION REQUESTED: BOCC Signature of mylar granting final approval for the Sasse Ridge Plat (LP-11- <br />00002 & LPF-25-00002). <br /> <br /> <br />BACKGROUND: The Preliminary Plat was approved by the Board of County Commissioners on April <br />16, 2013 with findings of fact and conclusions of law as required by KCC 16.36 and <br />KCC 16.12. The plat covers approximately 30.61 acres accessed via Hex Mountain <br />Drive. <br /> <br /> The applicant submitted the final plat application on March 13, 2025, requesting final <br />mylar approval for the Sasse Plat. This Plat creates a total of 10 lots. The proposed <br />lots range in size from 3.01 acres to 3.15 acres. Staff reviewed the final mylar with <br />supporting documentation and finds that it is consistent with the preliminary <br />approval documents. The mylar has been reviewed by all reviewing departments, <br />and all signatures have been obtained. <br /> <br />INTERACTION: Board of County Commissioners, Kittitas County Public Works, Kittitas County <br />Planning Official, Kittitas County Public Health, Kittitas County Treasurer, Kittitas <br />County Assessor, Kittitas County Auditor. <br /> <br />RECOMMENDATION: Signature of the BOCC Chair on the mylar for final plat approval of the Sasse Plat <br />(LP-11-00002 & LPF-25-00002). <br /> <br />HANDLING: Return signed mylar to staff for transmittal to authorized agent for Treasurer <br />signature and recording. <br /> <br />ATTACHMENTS: Final mylar for Sasse Plat (LP-11-00002 & LPF-25-00002), Board of County <br />Commissioners decision LP-11-00002. <br /> <br />LEAD STAFF: Zach Torrance-Smith, Planner I
